Are you working at Labora and were invited to have your portrait taken?
Great! I would love to invite you to my atelier for that. When? I am available on 6 days during the month of June (see options below).
Fabulous! Please use the calendar below. You will receive an automatic confirmation email after you have booked your spot. You will also receive a link that you can use for editing or canceling your appointment.

Most important is that your portrait looks good and that you can recognize yourself in it. I don’t want to the portraits to look too business-y, I would like them to convey a sense of story, one that relates to the building we are all in.
I also want all the portraits to feel like a series, which means that I will keep the look and feel consistent across the portraits of everyone that takes part, while aiming to bring out your personality, too.
I completely get it! Being photographed is something to get used to over time. Most of the people I create portraits for feel initially a little well…out of their depth. That is totally okay! It is my job to make you feel comfortable and I will do my very best to achieve that ;-)!
If you like wearing make-up, great, bring it on! If not, that’s also fine.
Use a lip balm before or during our session will help with that. Dry lips tend to show up on images particularly when using flashlights (which I will use for this series).
I will use flashlights for this series of portraits. Oily skin will create highlights on your skin (which are difficult to deal with afterwards in post production). It would be great if you could either dry your skin a little before our appointment (e.g. with a cloth) or use a matte powder. Thanks so much!
Choose clothing that you feel comfortable and confident in. The portrait will show only your head and upper body, so no worries about trousers or skirts.
I will use a darker background for the portraits and most likely the images will end up being black and white. A bright colour (e.g. white or cream) will make you stand out more from the background, a dark colour (e.g. dark blue) will merge you more with the background, but put an emphasis on your face (which will then be the brightest part of your portrait).
Whatever you choose is fine, this is just extra info for you, in case you want to be intentional about it.
You choose! I personally love minimalism and like to put an emphasis on the face instead of the clothes in portraits. But this is your portrait, so you should wear something that you like!
I will go through the images that I have taken and edit the best images. I will create an online gallery for you where you can log in and view your images.
I will make a suggestion as to which image I think would be great for you to have as your portrait, but you can always let me know what your preference is -since it will be next to your office/room/atelier at Labora, it is important that you are happy with it, of course.
Then you could let me know and you could purchase additional digital images for 30 Euro per image. The images will be available in high resolution and web resolution and you can download them after payment directly from your image gallery.
Please cancel your appointment at least one day in advance if possible, using the link in your booking confirmation email to cancel the appointment.
