There was a path. But it wasn’t like every step was clear, was planned, was defined. The goal was, though. And that was to (visually) tell Liesbet Peeters’ story.

So we set out on a walk round the lake. April this year. The weather shifted. Our conversation shifted. The view shifted. All captured by images. And while allowing this journey to unfold, keeping her mission close: She takes people onto a journey, a quest, too.

By now, we already know the journey. We have reached the goal of our project: We created images and a website for her. And I am saying “we” because this process is always a co-creation. Not just a deliverable.

But let’s start with these images. This part of the process. And then we take it step by step, image by image further.

As we walked, we came across details that connect right away with Liesbet’s vision: helping people with the journey to their core.

This is where we ended our explorative, photographic journey that day – at Liesbet’s home. And reflections of her in the mirror. These images would later on, during creating her website, become key pieces of the puzzle. More in another story. Soon.
